Studies show that a mere three seconds are sufficient for us to make our conclusions about people we meet. These first impressions are instinctive and are a thick and messy amalgam of reflexive self-protection and, sadly, learned behaviors and judgments. This interactive workshop explores the roots of these impulses and discusses the ways in which we can combat our reflexive judgments in situations when it is safe to do so, thus arriving at our assessments of people from a more holistic and aware place.
90 minute workshop or 60 minute presentation.
